A touch of fall

We wanted to go somewhere yesterday, but didn't want to drive too far...so we headed up the highway.
After about 20 minutes or so, we headed off on side roads...even though we were farther north, there was not as much color as around here. We did find an Illinois heron viewing station, but not one single thing was there...at least not in the wildlife department.
***************
I was relieved to hear that several of you have the same troubles with followers posts not showing in your viewer....I thought I was the lone ranger in that department. I am not glad you are having the same thing happen, yet I am glad I am not alone.

Now to something new...as most of you know I have Time Stand Still on a totally separate account. The other day I had posts scheduled and wanted to change the view date of a couple...I could not change that....I could access the post, but when I changed the post date, and clicked publish nothing happened. I tried clicking 'Save' and nothing happened. So, I thought it just a glitch...thought it was not that important. I thought I would come back to it later, and everything work.

Then night before last, I noticed I forgot to change the size of the photo to 640 x 427, and tried to change it...again I could access the editor, but could not change it. I have tried it on two different computers...one with Vista and one with Windows 7, so I don't think it is my computer. Any ideas???

I have one post scheduled on it for tonight, but haven't had time to see if I can set up any more. I am wondering will I be able to post anything after the one tonight.

  1. I really like the autumn look of these trees you shot. I don't know about the posting problem.

  2. I had been reluctant to change from the old editor, then all kinds of weird things happened and I couldn't post. Turned out the old editor was incompatible with my browser, Internet Explorer. So I got the new editor, it has been fine ever since and I like it better. It is much faster and easier. So which editor do you have?

  5. Mine did the same thing... I scheduled it to post at 4pm & hit publish... then I got out of the post & went back in & changed the time to 3:55pm & it shows 3:55 but still hasn't posted & my clock shows 3:58 right now... so I dunno what's wrong w/ it... a glitch in blogger?

  8. I think the more blogger "improves" things the worse it gets. I'm having problems posting comments too--they just "disappear". Frustrating!

  9. Your images are beautiful.

Regarding blogger problems, if it gets too bad, I cut and paste my text elsewhere so I don't have to write it again, then delete the post, start a new one, paste the text, and upload the pics again. It's quite a process, but it works eventually. *sigh*

  10. I haven't been having posting problems, but I'm not posting ahead or posting photos. I have in the past done what Lois suggests. Also, as someone else said, you might want to try a different browser.

  11. Hey, Rose! I had the same trouble until I discovered you have to click on SAVE at the top of the page...or it won't save.
