When will I see them again

These are from last spring...just can't help but wonder how much longer it will be before we see them again.
I am just so anxious for some color.
I have just piddled the day away doing normal chores, plus did sew a few lines.  I just feel better when I sew a few lines.  I did go down to do some cutting but got so cold I could not stand to be down in the basement.  It is me.  Not that it was actually that cold.  Every evening I go through a spell of being cold.  I sat here for a couple hours with a flannel shirt on and fleece blanket across my lap/legs.

Bubbie must get cold, too.  This morn when I got up, he did not come to see me.  I meant to check and see if he was outside, but got busy answering email, and checking some other things on line.  An hour or so later, I got up to go do something and thought of Bubbie.  I started to go check and noticed my jacket on the floor.  (I hang it over the back of a chair quite often.)

I thought how did that get in the floor, and about the same time I thought 'Bubbie'...I was right.  He was curled up asleep under it.  He had such a sleepy look on his face.  I would love to know how long he had slept there.  Any time I make a quilt, or lay down anything I have been handling a lot, he tries to pull it to where he can get under it.

Tootie is still feeling good today.  She got up ready to go to school...I am so glad that she did get over this quickly.

While we were over there, she told me again that she wished we lived right next door.  She said that way she could just put on her jacket and walk over....or if she came home from school and no one was there, she could come over and knock on my door.  I don't know why she said that...they don't even let her off the bus unless one of us is there to get her.

That's interesting that they don't let Lorelei off the bus unless someone is there! Do they take her back to the school?

Bubbie sounds like such a character!

I am so glad she is all better. Love the iris, such a deep deep color. And what IS that other flower? I don't think I have seen one like it ever.

Pretty purple blooms- I can't wait to see this again here. Still rainy and chilly.

Love that dark purple color. Kids are resilient aren't they? They seem to get over things much quicker than us "oldies". lol.

could you move closer? Little ones bounce back fast I find.

Love the purples
We have some color here but of course we have had no real cold weather. The Daffs are blooming and the flowering cherry and such. I am watching all the birds out this morning---zillions.
Since we lived out in the country I was always so glad that the school bus stopped right at our driveway so my kids were HOME! They tried to move the stop way down the road where there was another house but no kids and I said no way. and that was that!!
Have a fun weekend!

Beautiful deep colours in your blooms. Each day you are getting closer to seeing such blooms again!

I don't think it will be as long as we think Rose. While putting seed in the bird feeders yesterday I noticed the tops of iris and lilies coming through the ground, barely, but popping up just the same.
I go through cold spells too. I always have a small blanket in the chair I use just in case - summer too.

I'm so glad that little Lorelei has recovered. I know what you mean about the cold. It's turned chilly here this weekend having been lovely all week, and I'm really feeling it. I'm sure we'll see an explosion of colour before too long. My irises are all leafing and gearing up for lots of summer colour. It looks as though yours put in a spectacular display last year. All the best, Bonny
