Finished this yesterday

I finished this yesterday.  It has not been washed yet.  Hoping I can do that in the next day or two.
I always like to wash the first time and throw in a couple Shout Color Catchers.

The baby shower is Sunday...so it is done just in time.

Thanks so much for your comment about my Scottish fairytale quilt and the more recent finish as well. Yes, I washed it...I'd worked on it for so long, I felt like it was dingy from being handled....and frankly I was curious as how well the painting was going to hold up! :-) I knew it was supposed to be permanent, but, I wanted to see that for myself before sending it. Anyway, there are a number of techniques for fabric painting. I've purchased medium online before, and also used hand sanitizer and shaving cream! :-) You mix them with the paint itself (acrylic paint or ink) then apply to the fabric). This time I used Delta textile medium I purchased at Michael's. It was fun, and I loved the way it turned out. Glad you liked the quilt. Try some fabric painting some time...I think you'll enjoy it!
