Thankful Thursday

I am thankful we are aware that this fellow lives across the alley from our garage, under a neighbor's building.  Last year, or the year before, we unknowingly locked him in our garage and boy, was there a mess.  Several things knocked down, some broken.

I am also thankful to have a few new photos to post the past couple of days.

I will be linking to Thankful Thursday.

Delta Update
I ask my daugher what my grand-dog was up to.  She said she is constantly finding something new to get into.  Delta's new thing to do is to take her ball over and drop it down the basement stairs only to run down after it to get it and do it all over again.

  1. Hey, at least she doesn't want someone else to run down and get it! It's a smart dog who knows how to invent games to amuse themself. The groundhog is so cute! We have them here. They are also called Whistle Pigs because they whistle a high pitched sound as a warning. One whistled at Phil once.

  3. Gosh what an animal. I didn't know what he was until I read an earlier comment. Ground hogs don't exist over here in England, but he looks handsome and in fine form. Living in your neighbourhood clearly agrees with him.

  6. I think the groundhogs are cute. My sister had a problem with them eating everything in their garden a few years back. I like the hot pads you're making and that pale pink Iris is simply beautiful...in your last post. Bet it's cute watching the dog drop the ball down the stairs.

  7. Oh gosh! Ground hogs love my neighborhood. We had one under the back garage for a couple of years. Then we had one under the storage area that is on the back of our house. The dogs would go crazy trying to get him. He would go across the street to a neighbor's shed too. His dogs were faster than mine. We haven't seen another one this year. Hopefully we won't. They are cute, but destructive. You got good pics of yours!
