A bit of a mix-up

We waited around all day and went down to our hospital to get the scan this evening and they had scheduled it for the main hospital in Terre Haute.  I had specifically ask for the one here, and she had said okay.  But when they gave me the time of the appt....I did not double check that they had scheduled for here.  It is now rescheduled for here for Thursday.  They kept apologizing down here, but as I told them, they had nothing to do with it.  I was so upset for a while...just wanted it over...wanted the stress of wait over with...wanted to have the rest of the week where we didn't have an appt to go to....  But it is just a bump on the highway of life...

I took Roger to have blood drawn today...I forget what all she is having checked but a lot.  Then took him to McDonald's...came home and  gathered up towels.  They look like a motley crew, don't they?  I have a hard time finding towels that I really like.  I bought two of the one in the middle but I don't like them, but Roger is fine with it, so always put one of them out for him.

Tomorrow is a new day.  I haven't made plans for it...but there are things I should do.  But I would love to go fishing for a while.  I have threw my line in a couple times but that is it.

That is it for now...I hope you have a good week ahead.

  1. I know what you mean about towels, I have a hard time finding ones that I like, too. What a frustrating mix-up! I have been praying for Roger.

  3. I see you are putting the new fancy clothespins to work. I am easy with towels, don't care what they are, thin or thick.. I use WM brand and love them.. daddy always had thin cheap towels. for Chrismtas one year I took him 3 new towels, nice thick ones, can't remember now where I got them, but they looked the blue ones you have. he said they were to thick and fancy, he wanted cheap and thin... I took them back and he got cheap and thin.... I know it had to be so frustrating to get there and then have to wait again. waiting makes me crazy. last WED bob had his primary visit and the doc gave him a referall to a new dermatologist, not one word form that office, yesterday the approval from our insurance got here, still no appointment call...

  5. it's "crunchy" towel season here now in Southern Ontario. Line dried towels always dry "crunchy," don't they?

I hope things get sorted out soon for you.

  6. I can't seem to buy towels that don't shed. I've had expensive ones and cheap ones and they all shed for the longest time.
I love scratchy line dried towels. I think they are more absorbent too.

  7. Over the years I've had so many different types and colours of towels … I recently bought some new green ones.

I hope you may find time for some fishing.

    All the best Jan

  8. Life has those bumps from time to time. Hopefully in the end, all will be well. I understand about finding the right towels. I have a terrible time finding just what I like.

  9. I like nice thick fluffy towels. Mine are assorted colours too. I keep the pastel and white ones for me and give the gaudy ones to DH who doesn't care what colour his are.

Too bad about the mix-up at the hospital. I hope it all works out in the end.

  10. I sure am sorry about the mixup. The waiting is the hardest part.
I love a thin towel; John loves the thick/plush ones.

  12. You certainly have a variety of colors. I'm such a stick in the mud. I buy two sets and use them for a decade. I have a year to go on the beige ones I'm using. LOL
