The sky last night

I just have to show you the sky last night...and I suggest right clicking and opening in another tab or window. The above shot is to the west and one below is more towards the south.

I so wanted to go to the strip pit area where I could have wide open spaces, but I was bone weary.  I had woke up at 5:00 and could not go back to sleep...that after going to bed  just 3 or at the most 4 hours before.

Isn't Lorelei's kitty pretty?  Kitty Soft Paws is her name...I never have gotten a good picture of her.  and I would dearly love to have a video of her and Rosie playing...Rosie is Lorelei's little dog.

I will leave you with another Jeanne reminds me of something Roger did when we were first married. ....but listen to the video first.

Back at that time, before cell phones, and computers and instant communications, we mailed letters and mailed in bills.  Even though we lived right in the town where the bills were due, with working, it was just easier to mail the bills in.

Well, I started to mail something, I had always thought it was an actual letter but maybe it was just a bill.  I was out of stamps.  So I gave it to Roger and ask him to go get a book of stamps and mail it while he was at the post office.  He went and came home, and I ask him where were the rest of the stamps?  He says, 'Well I put them on the letter like you asked me to.'  I have always wondered about that...I always wondered who opened that envelope and what did they think.  He just took me literally.

Have a good weekend, everyone.

Well KSP is a really pretty kitty! Oh that stamp story!! I rarely send snail mail unless it's a package out to the boys in CA. THAT can get expensive. What would we do without our internet to pay bills? Your clouds are interesting. They remind me of a well defined six pack. I know...that's weird.
xx, Carol

Strange does the sky look like that means bad weather is coming?

Lol. Hilarious!

I always made carrot cake when someone passed away and brought it to the family. It got to the point when our daughter saw the cake on the counter, she always wondered who had died. She called it the carrot cake of death.

She did a nursing degree and an internship at the local hospital. She wanted to take a cake to the nurses on her last day there. She refused the carrot cake. She was convinced it would be bad luck for the patients on the floor.

Jeanne is always so funny, because her stories are about true happenings. Your story is just as funny!

Jeanne Robertson is hilarious. I never knew about her or watched any videos until you started mentioning her from time to time.

Those clouds are unusual and quite pretty too!!

Kitty Soft Paws is a lovely looking cat! Lucky Lorelei to have a cat AND a dog.

You're right about those beautiful clouds. Clicking to make them larger makes them breathtaking. The stamp story is so funny. I'm telling you, men are all alike. I enjoyed the video and need to send it to my sister. She is always sending her husband to the grocery store. She bakes pound cakes too. :)

Very cool clouds
I am still laughing at your video and Roger and the book of stamps. I too wonder what the person who opened the mail thought.
Pretty kitty

What fun it is going to be to read your blog. I went to the post about you, and my-oh-my how so very much your growing up days were like mine. Well, except that there were only five of us kids, with me being right in the middle. And we lived in Arkansas, and I still do.
