Not much...

I have had this basket forever and used it for different things.  Well I had a variety of items in it and it was sitting in my closet.  I cleared it out, and sat the basket out trying to decide what to do with it.  I finally thought I would try putting a towel in it and setting it in here.  I had it setting on the floor and Bubbie would get in there.  I sat it up on the couch while I vacuumed and they both seem to like it there....so there it has stayed.

***********

I finished 6 more of these this past week...

My stack of them is growing...I have more in there pinned and ready to baste to the background.

Sometimes when I am bored, I fiddle with the little pieces that are left when I ave cut out a leave.

Now some of the one pictured above are big enough that I will use them for some more specific than this:

I did not measure this but I would say it is about 8 x 8 inches...maybe a little wider...I don't know what I am going to do with it, but I will find a use.

Roger continues to be okay.  Or as okay as he gets.  I am thankful for that, and thankful for your thoughts and prayers with that.

I hope you are having a nice weekend...we are supposed to have sun tomorrow!  I won't know how to act, but I will be happy!

  1. He is so cute in this basket! And it is just the right size for him. Now you need to fold up a little blanket and put it inside. Comfy!

  2. Cats just love sleeping inside baskets or boxes don't they? Your sweet kitty looks so cozy and content. I love what you have created with scraps. I used to tell my mom that the things she made with scraps were my favorite things.

  5. I just love that picture of Bubbie in the basket! Set out a basket or a box and a cat will claim it for sure! You have made great progress on your squares. You will end up with a bigger quilt than you expected. I love what you are doing with the scraps. You could always make Bubbie a quilt!

  6. Ohhh, darn! Somewhere in blogland someone made the cutest placemats using crumbs, now I can't find it. LOVE the oranges. Does Bubbie need a girl friend? I think he and Bella would be a cute couple (hehehe).

  8. We used to keep a basket in the office to hold various bits and pieces, only it always had a cat in it instead! I don't know why, but cats and baskets just seem to go together. Bubbie looks so cute :)

I love the scrappy pieces. So many things you could do with those. Table runner, placemats, napkins, pillow tops, etc. I just love the colors.

  15. In some ways you remind me of my Mom. No scrap, no matter how small, was allowed to go to waste. She pieced them together to make a quilt.
