Not a lot to show

There are a few more here than the last time I took a pic of them...6 more if I am counting right.  I still do not know what I am going to do with them.

*********
I ran into Hobby Lobby the other day and came out with these:

I got them for Lorelei and her mom.  Lorelei loves sloths...I thought sure I was getting her something really unique.  But when Sarah was decorating their tree, she got to the bottom of her ornaments an there were two exactly like this one.  But she did not have the squirrels.
************

We went over there for Thanksgiving....Sarah baked the ham and  the basic cooking of green bean casserole, mashed taters, corn, crescent rolls and I forget what all.  Our other daughter made chex mix, sweet potato casserole, a cake that was delicious, and another snack.

All I made was an apple pie and deviled eggs...

I feel like I am forgetting something...but so weary I am just going to post this and try to settle down for the evening.

  1. Your hexie flowers are so pretty. Whatever you decide it will be beautiful. Do you follow Bonnie Hunter of Quiltville? Have you seen her crumb quilt? OMG! A whole quilt of crumbs! I thought of you when I saw it. ;o)

  5. Wow your Thanksgiving dinner sounds absolutely fantastic and I love everything you named and it sounds like what we always had. Throw in a few pies and cakes and cookies and I love your flowers they're looking really pretty. The ornaments are really cute they'd be cute just sitting somewhere not even hanging on a tree

  7. Happy that you all could spend Thanksgiving together. The food sounds so good. My mom would always say, this is a favorite ornament...put it on the front, so now, Lorelei can spread out her sloth ornaments to different sides of the tree!

  8. I love your flower hexies! It looks like the start of a Grandmother's Flower Garden quilt to me, or it could be a table runner of some type. It sounds like you had a wonderful Thanksgiving! The ornaments are so cute. Lorelei can have a sloth family on their tree!

  17. In my opinion, you can't have enough of a good thing...sloths included!!

Pretty flowers. I'd make them into a throw pillow for a couch. Or maybe seat cushions for kitchen chairs (or bedroom)

  18. Your Thanksgiving dinner sounds a lot like ours, except we have green beans cooked with fatback. :) The little flower pieces are really pretty. Oh, and those dogs in your last post...are so cute. Bet they are fun to play with.

  21. Funny that there were the same ornaments. You probably got them for her awhile back.
We went to my 2nd daughter's for Thanksgiving. We kept it very simple. Richelle got a new ice cream maker so I made Butterscotch sauce to go on the ice cream. We had a nice time.

  22. I love them! I like sloths, too. I try to put a lot of animal ornaments on my trees. I have several squirrels and a hedgehog in this type of ornament.
