Broken....

This is Copper...at rest.  Daughter has sent me pics like this before and I did not think to post them.  He is a character.

I am still working on my quilt I showed you last time..just a couple blocks a day.   Rather than bore you with it, I  thought I would show you one my daughter is working on:

I think this is going to be just beautiful.

Then last night I got this photo and caption from Lorelei's mom:

Potting is such sweet sorrow.

I thought of you, Sandra.  I was going to mail it to you, then thought I would share it on my blog.

April has returned to cooler weather here in our part of the world.  It is after 11:00 and only 48° F here.  Actually quite chilly.  I was so happy to be wearing flip-flops again, but I think I might have to put on shoes today.

Our yard has been mown for the first time...I have been weeding some but have a lot more to do.  Maybe I will get to do more later today, but I have got to make a walmart run for catfood, etc.   I am having trouble finding the canned cat food I use for the cats.    So I may end up stopping two or three places.  Roger wants to go, so will look around a bit and give him time to look.

Just a really short little video today....something that will give you joy:

Siblings. I hope the joy & smiles for brother remains. I see so often dysfunctional families.

Sometimes I feel like I have slept like Copper is.....like a pretzel! Your daughters quilt is gorgeous.
I read that Friskies is changing their canned food and I am having trouble finding it too.
That little girl is cute in the video. Oh for someone to be that happy to see me!

This little girl must adore her brother! Wow,Cooper does look like he fell and broke his back and neck! I was actually afraid at first that something awful had happened. So funny, I posted a similar picture today of our Simba.

The quilt sure is pretty.
I have been having problems finding canned food too. I went with a friend to WM in Greenwood today and they had bunches! I was thrilled and really stocked up.
Last week was flip flops all week - today is socks. UGH
I have mowed 3X so far. It sure is growing after all the rains.

I had to watch that video twice - she looks just like my gr. gr. niece! She does the same thing.
Have a good one.

I suppose if you've a dog, it's comfy - but it looks like I would get up and want to re-screw something back into place. Love the quilt under construction...

I am surprised the DNA test did not have the word Pretzel in the report. ha ha, if I did that I could not uncurl or walk. the baby girl video is precious. love the Potting is sweet sorrow. I have a new pot on the kitchen table, a new bag of potting soil in the garage, been there for oer a week. i was going to repot the pothos but it is to bad shape, so now i am waiting on the plant to come from amazon.. how will it get here is the question. could not find one anywhere here. looks like spring is there with all that beautiful green grass by the pot

-Oh that silly Copper. How could he be comfortable in that position. I scrolled through the rest of your blogs I missed. Good stuff. Sorry I haven't been around lately.

Copper certainly is a character, adorable! Your daughter’s quilt is beautiful but you could never bore me with your own :) Not quite as cold here but definitely a little chillier than the warmer weather we have been blessed with. I hope you find your cat food. Sweet video you shared, thank you for another lovely post.

Cooper is quite the contortionist.
Beautiful quilt. That's something I wish I could do.
