440 Little blocks

I wonder if I will ever reach the 600 number.  That was the original goal, but now I am thinking I might go with fewer.  I am not even sure what size quilt 600 would make.

I took Roger to have labs today.  They had been predicting rain to start this morning so I was dreading it all weekend.  I worried for nothing.  It still has not rained, though it looks like it might at some point before the night is over.

I fixed burgers on the grill and Roger wanted a smoked sausage.  The burgers were delicious.  If I will leave them alone, I can have a couple tomorrow.  Burgers off the grill are one of my favorite meals.

It is the end of a tiring day for me...I do not have much to say.

  3. That's a lot of blocks. Burgers on the grill sound good. I haven't had one cooked on the grill in quite a while.

  5. Burgers off the grill are my favorite way to eat burgers and they are also my favorite thing to eat out. I to pick at the ones that are left in the fridge, bob can't/wont do the grill and I am terrified of it, it is propane and he was always the griller. we used it 2 times a week before aging stopped us

  6. I cannot even imagine 600 squares, let alone quilting them. You obviously enjoy a challenge. Hope the rain stays away.

We finally have a nice day! Picnic time!

  10. There's a real special taste to burgers from the grill. All sounds wonderful! Glad the rain stayed away for your trip to the specialist, and I also am hoping good results from the lab. That is going to be an amazing quilt!

  11. Yumm on the burgers...I love them too. Hope Roger's lab work will be good and that you can rest and relax a bit. That sure is a lot of quilt blocks...I'm sure it will be a lovely quilt no matter the size.

  12. The pieces look pretty. I'm that way with eggplant, when it's cooled and room temp. Man alive, it's the best. I can gobble it all up. Num, num, num.
