This area is only partially quilted. I will fill in in the orange areas and the surrounding area with more quilting.
This is the back...I have been afraid to count how many circles I will have to quilt just to get that part done. It is slow going. But I am so glad to have begun.
************** I did a run to Walmart today. I should try pick-up because by the time I come home and carry everything in I am wiped out. But I feel like the walking is better for in the long run. So I continue to do my own shopping. I really don't know how I had so much stuff.

Daughter told me tonight, when she is done watching TV for the night, she puts her remote on the back of the couch a lot of times. Now, che is finding that Copper leaves his bone there.
Always love your quilts. I am not a quilter but I love them. I have one for our bed that was made by hubby's aunt years ago, and it's an absolute treasure to us. I can't shop at the moment and you're right, it's exhausting but good exercise. I'm actually looking forward to getting back to it. That's a cute story about Copper. Happy week to you Rose :)
ReplyDeleteSo you made your decision and it is to hand quilt your blanket. It's going to be lovely.
ReplyDeleteToo funny that Copper leaves his bone right there near the remote💗💗.
Such a smart dog! As big as Wal-Mart is, walking through there is a lot of exercise!
ReplyDeleteCooper is so funny. Your quilting looks fantastic, can't wait to see what else you do.

ReplyDeleteHaha, I thought it was only children not pups that copied what you do!
ReplyDeleteDid you decide to quilt by hand or are you doing it on the machine? It looks great.
ReplyDeleteI will always do my own shopping. I don't want someone else picking out things for me.
That's too funny about Copper.
Love your quilt, it is beautiful. I hope Cooper does not chew on the remote. Take care, have a great day!
ReplyDeleteyou chose well on the type of quilting. its beautiful. I do the same type shopping, come home and wonder how I got that much. putting it up is as hard as shopping for it. too precious, Copper, copying your mama.. makes me smile. i want to meet you
ReplyDeleteOne stitch at a time.
ReplyDeleteLol at Cooper. Dogs are so smart!
Love the story about Copper and that quilt is gorgeous. I wish I had the patience to do it. We have several that my Mother in Law made years ago. they are treasured.

The quilt will be so pretty. Looks like fall leaves.
ReplyDeleteSo funny about Copper leaving his bone there.
Your quilting project sounds like it’s coming along beautifully, even if it’s slow going. Quilting circles can be quite the task, but the end result will be worth it!
ReplyDeleteIt’s great that you’re staying active by doing your own shopping, even if it can be tiring. Every bit of exercise helps in the long run!
Copper leaving his bone on the couch is adorable. He’s trying to follow your daughter’s lead! www.melodyjacob.com
I like your quilting.
ReplyDeleteLOL at Copper :)
All the best Jan
