I heard from Sandra

I will try to copy a few of the things she says...

They are still without power...no cable TV, no internet, and some that got power back on still have no cable, and Tv, and internet.  She said itis like the city was bombed every day.

When they drive down the street to get two bags of ice, they have to do 4-way stops because signals are not working.

Her son and his wife lives in Clearwater about 40 miles away....they had power back last night but no TV or internet service.

***********

She says they are doing okay but the worst thing is from a diesel generator next door.  There is the noise, which ear plugs help for that, but there is no help for the fumes that fill the air in their house, in their yard..

That is the basic info she sent...

  1. Thanks so much for passing this along Rose. I keep checking on Sandra's blog every day. Oh dear, it's going to be a while before things get back to normal I fear. Sending her my love and hugs in the hopes it will be sooner than later.

  5. That sounds incredibly tough, dealing with all those power issues and the disruption they bring. It's good to hear they’re managing okay despite the circumstances. The noise and fumes from the generator must be so frustrating, though. Hoping things get better for them soon.
