Why I complain....

This is direct from the washer...it was a load of 4 Men's XXL shirts bought at a thrift store for the fabric, not to wear.

This is just one of the 4 shirts...the others were light colored and you could not tell if they had dry spots or not.

Might I add, the deep fill is always on...and I always do the second rinse.  I really think probably almost all the new washers do this...I know my new one at our home did, my other daughter's does this.  I thought at first that this one did not except on bulky items...but i was wrong.  All three of these washers are different brands.

My thought is what if you had real sickness where you were having to do a lot of laundry...what in the world would a person do.  With doing a second rinse, this usally takes an hour and eleven minutes, but if it is sheets or towels, it takes a bit longer because of the settings I use.

I will say besides all the extra time they require, by the time you have to redo things, plus always using the extra rinse, they waste energy at the least.  And maybe water, too but that might be a stretch because they try to use so little.

Just a little video...if  you feel up to it, pop over to youtube and give this one a like.  It is not exactly funny, but it made Roger chuckle.

  1. My washer has done that a few times. I stopped using the sensor for the water fill and almost always set it on high with an extra rinse. Definitely not conserving water. Had more rain today...my back yard looks like a creek. I'm thinking of building a boat. ;o)

Smart bird...easy pickings, and probably lots of good bugs.

  2. P.S. You would think in this day and age, that something like this problem would have been solved long ago.

  3. I'm sorry about the washers. Are they top-loading or side-loading?

  5. I dislike the new washers. It takes so much longer to wash my clothes.
Loved the video. That brown cow is so patient and doesn't seem the least bit bothered by that bird.

  6. Hello,
I have never seen that happen with our washer. Looks strange.
Love the magpie on the cow, great video.
Take care, have a great day!

  8. Great video of the cow getting its "facial".
Our washer is 17 years old and I'm not finding that problem.

  9. I always fill a pail of water from the laundry tub and empty it on to my laundry so the washer "thinks" the load is heavier than it really is. I hate that I have to do that but it's the only way. As you know, my son's family lives with us and of course we share the washer. He never used to do anything other than press start. Many many times I'd check and his laundry was only HALF covered with water and the washer was going strong. I finally convinced him and he now chooses a cycle that fills the tub to the max. That's okay for his family-sized loads but ours are much smaller so that cycle would waste way too much water. Oh the frustrations of new washers is enough to make a person angry.

  10. I hate my wringer less washer - so little water and they take forever. I would never do that again. I always throw the dehumidifier water in the load before starting - adds water. Only works if you do one load a day though! I understand your misery. Just for my normal I do a quick load, most times. Then heavy loads for bedding. Otherwise it takes forever.

  14. That is so frustrating.
I had to have a new washer a few years ago now, fingers crossed it is still working well but I do find all the wash programmes are longer!

    All the best Jan

  15. What about that washing machine? So frustrating. We can't live without it, and it should wash well, otherwise, it shouldn't have been called a washing machine. Maybe ask for help where you bought it. Oh, and thanks for the lovely video!
