That's my boy!

I was taking a break while mowing the yard, and Bubbie came and got up on the little table in front of me and was looking back at me....letting me know it was my job to pet him.
*********

We got the yard mowed once again the other day...even though our yard is very small, I am worn out when we are done.  We are just using the push mower right now.  Which is good for me cause I do forget about my ankle/foot or what ever you want to call where my leg was broken.  And it is just good to accomplish something that does not have to be done again the next day!

I pay attention to the music in commercials quite often.  The other day I caught just the very tailend of a commercial for an Infinity...but I didn't hear enough/memorize enough to search for it.  Tonight I thought to hit the rewind button and played it again.  It is such a short clip of the song...but find it I did!

Now who would have thought this would feature in an Infinity QX50 commercial?  I think it was QX...the 50 part is right.  Anyway, love it...

And while I am at it...

this one caught my attention a year or two ago...it was in the commercial for the Samsung Note 9....the name of the song is Thunderclouds.   It figures that I would like a song with that title.

While we are at it...we listened to an Austin City Limits I had recorded and heard this guy sing this song...

Hope you find joy in at least one of them...they are all different.

  2. I love these songs and I love your beautiful cat! Yes, take care of your foot when mowing. I remember having a nasty fall when pushing our mower around. I scared myself when my foot went down a hole, and I scared the postman who rushed over to help me ;-0

  3. Music is amazing . Years ago I taught preschool I did it for 10 years and while the children learned their ABCs and their colors we sang songs that taught us phonics . The children had no idea they were learning but by the end of the year my preschoolers were reading . They had no idea they were learning they were just having fun singing . Music has that power . Also , I've taken my guitar and gone to Alzheimer's facilities and even though these people are short on memory when you sing those old songs they remember the words, it's amazing .
Thank you so much for your prayers . We are very appreciative , there is so much power in prayer .

  5. Awww....you will not be able to resist petting after getting that look from Bubbie. Lol! I don't have a lawn to mow but I have to weed the garden every now and then.

  6. I don't so much pay attention to the music in commercials, but I sure do on shows that we watch. I always wonder how the people that select music know how to find just the right song for the right scene. I often search for music I hear, especially those raspy voiced singers that I love to hear.

  8. love those big green eyes looking back and up at you.. none of the songs appeal to me and have never heard any of the three. I do notice songs in the commercials, but it is mostly when they use things that are familiar to everyone, like 3 blind mice or something like that.

  11. I have never heard either of those songs. I notice the songs used in commercials too. They bring back a lot of the old songs. I used to like Austin City Limits. Your kitty cat is so adorable. Reminds me of the way our Dumperoo looks back at me. It's so sweet.
