A little post

Roger and I each received one of these coffee cups from Lorelei's mom.  She got them from an artist in Little Nashville...which is what we call Nashville, IN.  It is so beautiful....but I do use it.  And every time I use it, it brings me joy.

I received this a few days ago...Copper's chin is resting on my daughter's knee.  He is wanting her to stop reading and pet him.  She said he is as tall as Delta.  But still skinny.  I think he will eventually add some weight but I am not sure.  We found a kitty that had been left out at the strip pits, and he was skinny because he had about starved to death, and remained skinny all his life.

I will leave you with this little video:

  3. The video reminds me of Kaitlin's first grade teacher. She told the parents, "I promise not to believe everything they say about you if you promise not to believe everything they say about me."

    Love Copper!
The coffee mug is pretty, but...even tho I'm not a coffee drinker, I think being that it's dark I'd always over-fill. lol

  6. I love the mug! Gifts like that are special and they do bring joy when used. That video is funny! When my son first went to school his teacher told me that she promised to not believe everything my son told her about us if we promised to not believe everything he told us about her!

  7. I love the story of your first Cougar.

Giroux is a skinny cat like that. He only weighed 5 lbs. when we found him and he was an adult. Now he tops out at just over 7 lbs. He's long and lean.

He likes tomato juice and tomato soup. I haven't tried to see if he likes tomatoes. He would drink a half can of V-8 if we let him. LOL

I love your pottery mug. I'm sure that makes for a VERY cozy cup of tea (or coffee).

  20. What a lovely mug, I would use it too. I have a favorite mug in my cupboard with a bear and “grumpy” written on it which matches the bear’s expression. It makes me smile every time I get it down for my morning coffee :) Copper is adorable and makes me happy he has a good and loving home. The same with the poor kitty when you found him. Loved the video with the little girl, made me laugh out loud.
