I am not sure what the smudge is on this shot, but I still love the shot. It is one from their vacation.
I had one of my regular chores this morn, and then did some laundry...took care of the boy. (Copper in case you didn't guess.) If he were a girl, he would be named Joy. He either finds joy in almost everything, or gives me joy. I cannot describe the things he does, but I have laughed more at him than at any dog ever.
The only animal that ever came close was Bubbie...we called him our clown. I have been missing him a lot here lately. He was all about my daughter and my husband until his leg was broke and he had to have surgery to put the pin in his leg. I took care of him through that, and from then on I was not just the person that fed him, but also a person he loved.
I need to get to bed...maybe I will forego reading tonight...but I am not sure. I sure enjoy reading a little bit each night.
That's a neat picture. The smudge almost makes it more interesting.
ReplyDeleteThat is a great photo. The smudge (or whatever) just adds to its mystery. I just love the idea of a male who would be called Joy if he were a female. This is such a relatable description.
ReplyDeleteGreat photo - perhaps the smudge is reflected sunlight?
ReplyDeleteSometimes I think pets are sent to us to bring us joy when we are in most need of it. Mxx
Beautiful photo. Copper sounds like an excellent companion.
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteIt is a pretty photo! Copper sounds like a great dog. Take care, enjoy your day!
Animals can be such a joy in our lives! We miss the golden grand-dog since she went home. The house feels lonely now.
ReplyDeleteLorelei is such a great photographer! She sure takes after you, and I bet you were her inspiration.
ReplyDeleteI read at bedtime every night. the photo is beautiful, part of the beauty is the smudge. I would love to see your Copper Joy, Beau is our Joy. he had us in stitches last night before we went to bed. we laughed until we cried
ReplyDeleteBeautiful and I think the smudge is really the sun flare from the sun entering the lens. It adds to the glamor of the shot. Great job Lorelei.

Copper sounds like such a great dog. A real character. :)
ReplyDeleteLove the photo, smudge and all! I had a dog that sounds a lot like Bubbie. His name was Diablo, but the name couldn't be farther from the truth. Sweetest, silliest little dog ever. It was hard watching him grow old. We had to have a guy come out frequently to remove pet stains. We actually had him out recently to do a dryer vent cleaning and he told us how much he missed Diablo. I don't know what I think about heaven, but if there is one, man do I hope it has at least one little Diablo in it.
