One of these days it will be finished...but sometimes I am not sure it is going to be this year. I do have the fabric picked out for the binding...but I still have not quilted the 'orange peels' because I cannot decide what design. I have had it ready to trim for a couple or three days but by the time I could get up there to do it, was too tired. I feared I would make a bad mistake. So today I went up before it got late in the day and got that done.

I have not did much today. I did make a run to CostCo for 5 items, but I did look around some. Other than that, and dishes, and fixing Copper's food, and having him in and out, I have not done much.
I do need to get in an order from Amazon...seems like at least half the time they come kind of late.
That is about it for the day for me.
The quilt is gorgeous! I look forward to its completion whenever you are ready to finish it.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty, I love the orange and grays...can you keep it as is? Maybe echo on the inside? Single elongated swirl in the center?
ReplyDeleteI loved it from the first time I saw it!
ReplyDeleteIt's beautiful. I worked today a little bit on the border of a quilt, but I also have one that I've been hand quilting on now for a year and a half I would love to get it finished before Christmas, we'll see. Happy quilting!
ReplyDeleteThat quilt is fabulous. I really like the looks of it.
ReplyDeleteYour quilt is so lovely. I admire your talent.

Your quilt is just so pretty!!
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty quilt.
ReplyDeleteIt's really beautiful Rose. Slow and steady wins the race. I know what you mean by not wanting to do any task when tired. It's so hard to concentrate but it will be very rewarding for you when you have taken your time and you put in that last final stitch :) It sounds like you had a busy day. One trip to CostCo and I'm exhausted. Doing dishes might not seems lot but it's exercise of sorts, looking after Copper is like looking after a small child. That's how I always felt about our fur baby anyway. Have a great rest of the week.
ReplyDeleteSo very pretty! I agree with you about not doing anything when tired.
ReplyDeleteThis quilt is beautiful and so timely for Autumn, the colors are perfect.
