From Eagle Creek Nursery

This is another flower from the Eagle Creek Nursery.

It is another hot day here in Indiana...I did get out this morning and pull some thistles out of the flowers.  I don't think they are the big pretty kind.  I sure would like to see some of them blooming.

I did a bit of housework...vacuuming, laundry, etc.  I have not made it up to sew a single stitch.  I need to give Roger his meds and I will basically be done for the night except for a snack for him later.

How was your day?  Did you do anything fun?  I did enjoy your answers to the term you use for being very tired.  I use worn to a frazzle, exhausted, too weary to do another thing...and more besides.  Every evening about this time, I feel that way, but sometimes if I rest, I will feel like doing something more.

Funny

I for on the computer to check the weather...instead of checking my phone.  Imagine my surprise when this popped up.  It even has the right date and everything.  But that is not what cracked me up.

I got my kindle and went outside to read, and had nor more than sat down till the ice cream van was coming through the neighborhood.  He goes so fast, kids do not have time to get out to get anything.  But anyway, guess what song he was playing?

Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer.  I

laughed till I cried.  I told my daughter how appropriate.  Sometimes simple things like that strike me so funny, and at other times not so much.  But add to that my daughter was trying a new sprinkler, and Copper has to help test it out.  So was laughing at him, too.  I need to try to get a video of that.

It is actually 91°F...so it is warm.

A short little post...

The is a view at Eagle Creek Nursery...daughter and I picked up Lorelei and we went there and looked at shrubs and trees on Wednesday.  It was so hot and muggy it was sort of hard to fully enjoy it.  But still, I would go back again in a heartbeat.

Do you have a term or phrase you use a lot when you are tired...I have several.  I won't bore you with them but I am tired.  I was to be at daughter's house to let in delivery people at 9:30 this morn.  That is not early.  However, almost any time I have to do something a bit out of my routine, I either wake early--this morning, was right at 4:00 a.m. and did not go back to sleep.  Thankfully I had gone to bed at 11:30...

I either do that, or I wake up every hour...I have no idea why I do that.  But the delivery guys came shortly after 9:30 so did not have to sit and wait, and I got to run on and do my walmart shopping.  Then home...put things away, go get Copper and take him out.  Oh, my, you should have seen him...he could not leave me alone because he had to sniff and sniff and sniff because I had held Rosie and played with Gus...I am sure he knew where I had been.
